Allow me to love, as you have loved me. Send me work that will allow me to evangelize people into a life with christ. Empower me to lift up the weak. Bring me into a service of those who cannot give back anything to me, and allow me to give them my time and energy. Whisper to me the words you want me to speak and sing and write to those I meet.
Nobody knows me as well as you my lord, for I come to you daily. If I am lost or unsure I go to your words, and open your book so that you may speak to me. When I feel guilty or shameful I go to your priests to speak to you directly through their connectioon to you and apologize and ask for your mercy.
When you pour down blessings, I thank you for knowing what I need.
And when people I love need your assistance and I dont have a solution, please help them because I love them and need them to be strong and a part of my life.
I put my faith in you, for when I send you my prayers, you have always given me an answer, even when it is an answer I did not want. You have shown me your plan for me. And when I am lost, you have given me a sign, to direct me on the path you have prepared for me
The road less travelled awaits me, help me to choose the winding path where others will not tread. I am not afraid, for I am here to worship you, here I am lord, create in me a new heart, for you are lovely, you are worthy, and you are wonderful to me, I do not know how my sins have pushed the nails into your hands on that cross, but you died for me, sacrificed your life, for all the sins I would commit, you laid down your life for me, and for all who believe you are the son of god, take away me fear lord, and let the holy spirit fill that void in our hearts, that moment of disbelief, fill it with your spirit, so that when you claim us from this earth, we may know and believe in your love, and be strong in the work we have done for you while we walk on this planet, so we may rise to your side and spend eternity with our creator, and all of our loved ones who and have and will die and rise to be with you.
