voices of love to save the lives of preborn children, and the souls of their parents

One picture that stood out was a pregnant woman and her man holding her tummy. Because women do not have babies alone, and often we put the burden of having an abortion on the woman. As they say it takes two to tango.. We need stronger men, who can have a pure heart, and be willing to take responsibility for the children they bring into this world. And preferably only in the sacrament of marriage, so that jesus will be in the center of all their decisions together as a couple. I went to mass at 5pm at holy innocents, before the concert. And the pastor ended mass with the prayer of st michael the archangel. That is when I knew that I was in the right place. St Michael defends god's people from the evil spirits in this world. The concert was so powerful. I picked up a packet that gave explanations and information about abstinence, chastity, how to live chastity, the value of chastity. The singers and dancers were glorious, sharing their talents with the community and speaking all the truths about love, hurts, pain, joy and all the emotions and actions that people go through in courting for the singles and marriage for the couples. We were all given 4 gifts as we walked in the door: a white bracelet " life is the choice", a pink bracelet "voices of love 09", a program with names of sponsors, dancers, singers, and organizers with pictures of them as well as the song list, and a purity card. The card is a covenant with the lord to live with a pure heart, to avoid lust, pornography, premarital sex, abortion, and adultery. And if you are not pure, then let today be the beginning of your covenant with god. The films going on in the background were great as well, as men and women were talking about their love lives. And many were victorious in that even though they might have had a hard break up, that god had planned a greater love for them. For love is patient, and not self serving. I saw pics of so many community members, that are now happily married, and some that have children now as well.  The message was so clear to me. God has sent the archangels to protect us, and help us to purify our hearts, so that we may court and love our god's gifts with a pure love that will last until death do us part. And the message is also for those pursuing a religious vocation to live with a pure heart, so you can nurture the whole community as a nun or pastor. I also have some videos of the first couple song sets, but my memory card filled up pretty quickly, so I only was able to get those movies and a few pics. Look into your hearts, are you ready to love, sacrifice and serve your god's gift. Or are you still not ready, and still too self serving to be someone's partner. I saw two of our latamarie missionaries at the event: bonn and khyme. I heard they are off to the philippines very soon, after two years of evangelizing and developing CFC/SFC/YFC leaders in south america: costa rica, panama, peru, and nicuragua. At the end everyone started dancing and just enjoying the evening. I sat by myself and was praying in the back. I was reflecting on the whole weekend, and taking in all the desires of my own heart to have a partner and a family in the future. Fiat: let your will be done unto me Lord. God has a plan for all of us, especially the children who might be aborted in the future. May our offerings help parents to provide for their children, or give them to families that desire to adopt a precious gift from god. I felt very blessed to be in attendance at this amazing concert. I wanted to thank all of you who practiced and prepared such a wonderful prayer to our lord. Even the dancing was done with a live band afterwards, that is pretty sweet.  No mp3s needed for that, they just jammed out live. It would be great if the concert staff, can post the videos from the concert on youtube,veoh, or godtube to share with everyone. How do we live with pure hearts in preparation for marriage or celibacy or religous vocation: Thomas Aquinas tells us to do it "joyfully, easily and promptly." Take it day by day, it is lent, so start with lent.
