no wonder the world is hurting so bad

The things of this world, are aiming so far away from god. We allow and give each other the freedom to do anything, even the actions that the bible say are sinful and destroy our relationships with each other and the people around us.

So often we lie to each other, or gossip and spread bad news about others. Instead of building people up we tear them down out of spite, or jealousy, or just cruelty.

We encourage people not to sleep and get their necessary rest. We fill our nervous, sad, depressed moments for drugs and other items that kill brain cells. So we take energy pills, cigarettes, alcohol, soda, coffee, tea to keep us awake longer, when what we really need is a proper nutrition plan, and a good 6-8 hours of sleep every day to recover from the prior day's work. We feel anxiety about problems, and relationships, financial challenges. We are losing our homes, have huge loans, credit companies and collection companies calling all day, every day. We are needing the government to come in and regulate industries that encouraged horrible investments, that are now turning into foreclosures, and bankruptcy.

The world is hurting and sick. We are filled with so much anger, lust, pride, and lack of concern for people in this world: in our backyards who are struggling each day to find a place to sleep, food to eat, a shower to clean up, a job they can make money from, disablities of physical and mental without proper healthcare. So many children go untreated and other adults are disqualified from health care because of price, or preexisting conditions, or lack of a job and employer who can make it affordable. And health care crisis are the most common way for american famlies to have to turn to bankruptcy if a member has a condition that requires tons of expensive procedures or inpatient care. Cancer being one of the most common with the expensive chemotherapy, or heart surgery, brain surgery.

We are so quick to respond with anger, when someone does wrong to us, or we percieve they have done us wrong. And with our tools for violence so advanced now, many of us own firearms that can turn a disagreement into murder, or death, and send us into imprisonment here and a life in purgatory or worse a life in hell....People take out their anger on their family, friends, children, strangers and even classmates and office co-workers. That is on a micro level between people, but now so many countries have or desire nuclear and chemical weapons, and are experimenting with submarines and missiles, so they can be considered a threat and gain respect. If they really desired it, one missile could beget an onslaught of missiles and truly bring an end to life on this planet for most us, because of pride and anger between governments. We already know what it looks like , just go look up video on world war 2, and the annihilation of life in japan from american bombs..

Being underappreciated and underpayed, as many people feel leads to frustration, tension, and often violence or loneliness. Loneliness often turns into isolation, and a confused a crazy response to a lack of hope in the future....but we have not been brought to this place and time for woe, we were perfectly placed here and in this place because god is preparing us for a life full of hope and love. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Women and young boys are being stolen away from their families in many countries and forced to participate in labor or even worse trafficking or prostitution, or pornography. Some poeple choose that kind of work. But many of these children are forced to do it by people who took away their passports, or took them away to other countries where their family cannot find them. Or they threaten to hurt their children or relatives if they do not participate in type of work. And they become objects to be used by men and women who have a low self esteem, and are unable to find healthy relationships.

And all of these stripclubs, escorts, prostitutes, rape, and adultery often lead to disease, broken marriages, broken hearts, and disease, and can be fatal through hiv or aids. And contraception encourages these behaviors, while at the same time devaluing our own gift of our body. Our body is a temple of the holy spirit, and each day god is preparing us to be our best to do the work we have chosen, vocations, blessed single life, or to present ourselves to a god's gift in married life through a husband or wife. If you have already fallen and given away your virginity, go speak to a spiritual director or pastor, and ask them for forgiveness, so god may work on your heart and renew you in a new life from today on. Let god heal you and restore your faith, so the next time you have someone to love, that you will include christ in your prayers and in your relationship. Where two or three are gathered in your name there I will be with you, is what jesus has taught us.
