I have a lot of clients ask if it is possible to lose fat in my belly only
What you need to understand is that the belly is probably the last place you will lose fat. You can strengthen your core, abdomen and lower back. But to remove fat from your body you need to build lean mass in all of your major muscle groups. This will help you lose body fat percentage and get leaner for your whole being, and not just your abs. You might have really strong abs, but if they are covered by a layer of fat then nobody will ever see those strong muscles. It is important to learn how to train the core and do it with proper posture. I can teach you how to exercise your core and get a abdomen you will be happy with. Basically you need to eat and exercise regularly and keep changing your program so you do not adapt to it. This will increase your lean mass and decrease your body fat percentage, and thus you will be able to see your abs. Make sure you work your lower back. Like a tree, you cant just build the front of the tree trunk, you need to build the back and sides of the tree trunk for it to be strong. The same with the core of a person, you need to strengthen lower, upper abs, and obliques, and lower back. You must address all sections of the abs, including frontal, sagittal and transverse motions in all planes to be a functional and strong core that can support weight and live a active lifetsyle including playing sports.
