what to measure when you are overweight...to know if you are making good progress towards a better body

stop looking at a weight scale, because pounds do not measure fitness accurately when you are overweight. Go to a gym or your doctor and measure your body fat composition, every 3 weeks. And measure your diameters, for your upper arm, forearm, neck, chest, waist, hips, thigh and calf. I can help you do these measurements if you want me to, just give me a call. These are better measurements of fitness then just pure pounds or kg.

Body fat composition in particular is the best gauge of whether or not your eating habits and exercise habits are improving your body. Go buy a body fat composition scale and use that instead of just looking at pounds.
