testimonial from my client Craig:

Hi my name is Craig & when I first joined 24hr Fitness Ronald was my trainer. I explained to Ronald my goals and he designed a training program to fit my abilities & achieve my goals. Ronald was very detailed on my workouts and always explained the purpose of each exercise & what body parts it would build. He was a "form nazi" in that he made sure I did my exercise correctly with good form which greatly reduced the risk of injury. It was very hard work and I would be sore the next day but that was definitely a good thing. Ronald was always positive & upbeat and was there to motivate and encourage me on throughout my training program. He is very knowledgeable in regards to fitness, training, & nutrition. I learned a lot about these areas thanks to Ronald. Ronald also has a great personality which is very important in a training relationship. I would most definitely recommend Ronald as a personal trainer based on my positive experience with his training program.

the perfect gift

have you ever gotten the perfect christmas gift or birthday gift. did they tell you what it was gonna be before that day, did you use it and get tired of it before you recieved it. Or was it a surprise because it was exactly what you wanted, you didnt think anyone else knew or could afford to give it to you, but still your loved ones found a way to give it to you. That is what purity and sex is to me. Sex after marriage is that perfect birthday gift, or christmas gift that was prepared for you and you alone after careful consideration of exactly what you need to give you energy and fulfillment. You are that gift for the person you are supposed to be with. So be gentle with yourself, and exercise and eat well and take care of your spirit. So you can be the best gift possible for the partner you have been prepared for. I want my partner to feel blessed to be with me, as much as I want to feel blessed to be with her. Purity makes you sexier. When everybody has had you, then nobody else wants it cause it is not special anymore. Like would you want to chew gum after everybody else has had it in their mouth. But if you find that perfect dessert just prepared out of the oven, not even sliced yet, cooked just for you by a person who loves you. Now that is something you want to eat over and over again, because the person who loves you prepares it for you each and every day you are together. Prepare yourself to be a gift through purity.

jesus will protect you from bad dreams

I just woke up from a nightmare. I was drving down a dark road, and it was getting narrow and more narrow, and feeling dangerous, so I asked my dad to drive instead of me. Then I thought I woke up, and started to see the room contort and look like something was approaching me, and I felt like it was hard to breathe, so I just yelled out "jesus" and I saw it jump back and slither away and then run away from me very quickly.

All I can say is if you are having a nightmare, be prepared to yell the name of jesus to save you from this nightmare. It is the strongest weapon you will have if the evil one comes to attack you in your dreams when you are sleeping.

His name is the best weapon or armor you can ask for when you are attacked in your sleep. When I woke up again after that, I was startled and I went to check on the other people in the house. Since my dad was in the house, and he was in my dream I chose to wake him up, And he just told me to pray and go back to sleep.

But I wanted to equip you in case the tempter comes to you tonight in your dreams the way he tried to get me tonight.

the name of our savior, is what took me out of that nightmare, keep it ready like your bible and it will save you from any monsters, demons or devils that try to claim you in your sleep

please pray for me today

I am gonna see the doctor. Something is wrong with my jaw and my voice. I have developed a lisp and Ihave been grinding my teeth a lot. I believe it is stress. But I am not sure. My mother has the same doctor as me and she says there is a treatment avaialble for this type of condition. So I was able to get an appointment this afternoon. I really hope I can get my normal speaking voice back. I talk alot for my job and I hate the way I sound right now. And everyone close to me has noticed the way I grind my teeth lately. It is really frustrating for me. Not sure what caused it all, but something is definitely wrong. Please pray for the healing of my speaking voice and my jaw and an end to the grinding of my teeth.

my singing voice is fine, but my speaking voice is all messed up. I sincerely hope this doctor can offer me a treatment that will allow me to return to the way I normally talk. This all developed in the last 2 months. I didnt used to sound this way.

highly paid criminals, it seems like at least one guy on every sports team is a criminal

I find it sad that our sports heroes have so many vices. Drugs, sex, crime. Honestly it really surprises me that these guys continue to get paid at such a high level when their morals and choices are so bad for society at large. Drug use leads to irresponsible actions. Lust leads to abuse of women, rape, adultery, and exploitation of women and young boys, including prostitution or slavery of women. And violent crime and drunk driving leads to murder and death of innocent people. If nba players commit what would be a crime for regular people they should be fined a significant portion of their salary. They should have to live up to a code of ethics and behavior like doctors, or financial advisors, or lawyers do. All of our highest paid professionals have to sign documents saying they are dealing with the public in an ethical way. Athletes get paid more than 90% of our population and they should be held to a higher standard. If an nba player smokes marijuana he should have 40% of his salary donated to drug prevention non profit groups. If they are going to live like criminals then they should lose that enormous salary they are being paid by the public through television and consumption of sports through merchandising, tickets, and broadcasting. Playing a sport for a living is a privilege, it is not a right. And if anything these guys should be held to a higher standard, because they are being paid like they have more value then most people in society.

If you cheat on your wife, you should donate 40% of your salary to kids with no parents, adoption centers and abused women shelters. And so on, they could earmark the money to be used to benefit society when our athletes commit crimes.

To me drug use, violence, drunk driving, adultery are all crimes that should be penalized by the nba for having allowed these men to be a destructive element in their community.

I believe nba players would pay attention to criminal laws if they knew they would be penalized 40% of their salary. And if they still commit crimes then throw them out of the league and bring in men who will respect the community and still put on a good show on the court. I want to root for good guys, not criminals that are good at basketball. That is why I have such disdain for guys like kobe bryant, that have everything I could ever want and then cheat on their wives and children. Or carmelo anthony who drives under the influence putting every citizen in denver at risk of death while he drives his mobile weapon on the road. And now josh howard is taking illegal drugs, cause in his opinion nobody is gettin hurt by his drug abuse. But isnt driving under the influence of marijuana just as bad as alcohol. How can it be any better to drive under the influence of drugs.

I love pro sports, but I hate how often we have to hear about these athletes commiting crimes. I am running out of guys to root for these days. Almost every team has at least one guy who is or has committed a crime. I dont want to pay money to watch criminals. I could just go down to the prison in chino and watch them play, what is the difference.

I want to love these athletes, but I cannot even respect them for being good citizens. I dont wear my jason kidd jersey anymore after he tarnished his wife's reputation in public and divorced her. I dont care if he is a great point guard, if he does not honor his commitment to god and protect his wife. Ason kidd is the the man with no j, no jesus in his life.

That is why I hate seeing young college kids going to the nba with millions of dollars before they learn how to be men of respect and honor. They end up using their financial power to make colossal mistakes, because athletically they are ready to play, but emotionally and spritually they do not have the humility and spiritual strength to guard and care for all of that financial power they have been given. They would be better served becoming men and making mistakes that regular kids make as they grow into who they are supposed to be as men. Money only magnifies the weaknesses they have. In a good man, money empowers them to do good and help many people. But in a weak man, money leads to criminal or immoral activities because they are selfish and self-seeking.

And I focused on basketball but you will find similar violations of thes laws in baseball, football and hockey and soccer. I just know the names in the nba because I follow it the whole year round. And because I love watching the nba as much as I do.

If a man will cheat on his wife, he will also cheat on his team and his league ie gambling on games, taking steroids, faking injuries, getting coaches fired, blaming the losses on their teammates. Once a cheater, always a cheater. why would you change your behavior if the league you play in pays your 10 million a year even when you commit crimes like the ones I have mentioned earlier in this article.

Take away the money, take away the privilege to play from men who prove their unworthiness.
Let them get regular jobs. I am sure there are plenty of guys who smoke marijuana that dont work in the nba. They can get jobs outside the nba and smoke as much marijuana as they want to. I cant stop them from smoking marijuana, but I can kick them out of the league.

Politician get kicked out of office for committing crimes, sports leagues can do the same thing, no tolerance should be the policy of every sports league. That will protect our children so they can aspire to be like these athletes, so they can yell and cheer and wear their names on their shirts.

for all the good men in the league, you are the reason I come to watch the games....

I am very unhappy with the products and lack of customer service of officemax

I spent 220 dollars on a digital camera from canon this christmas. And after 5 months it stopped working properly. I sent it to canon to get it repaired, but it should be under warranty for 1 year. Canon asked for my receipt and I did not have it so I contacted officemax to ask if they would help me generate a receipt of purchase so I could take advantage of the manufacturers warranty. They said they would not be able to help me. So I now have to pay to repair a product that should still have 7 months of warranty. I called and emailed officemax and they just said sorry, and we hope you will do business with us again.

So basically the sold me a defective product and when I needed to get it repaired they chose not to help me. I will never shop at officemax again, I will go to staples or office depot or best buy. I hope you will also choose to not shop at officemax. They have poor service and defective products that they sell and will not help you obtain the warranty they promise to you when they sold it even within 1 year of purchase. A 250 dollar camera should not break after 5 months of purchase, that is unacceptable in my mind.

They underdeliver on product, underdeliver on service and then hope I will continue to shop with them. Well I have decided to never shop there again. I dont care if I pay less, I dont want to pay less and get less. I would rather pay more and get something that will last me, and have a company that will help me when a product is under its warranty.

If you do not want this poor service to be part of your life, then do not shop at officemax. I have always liked office depot better anyways. So now they just made my shopping choices a lot easier. I will not buy from an inferior retail outlet like officemax.

how to stay fit when you travel for business all the time

1. drink 1 cup of water ever hour on the plane, juice or tea is ok as well, but no beer, wine or mixed drinks
2. call ahead at the hotel and have them prepare a salad, fruit, yogurt, omelet, or hard boiled eggs upon arrival
3. dont get a key to minibar, or remove the minibar from your room, if you keep looking a 8 dollar snicker bar, you are more likely to eat it
4. buy an apple or orange to keep every morning in your rooom
5. work out in the morning before you fly, take a walk at your destination if it is daylight once you a arrive at your spot
6. walk the aisle on the plane every 90 minutes during the flight and stretch
stretch near the bathrooms where there is more room to spread out
7. buy snacks for the airport and flight, there will be delays. Some good choices: au bon pain salads, fruit, or yogurt, dried fruit, nuts, granola bars, smoothie with protein, protein bars, protein shakes
8. dont eat a large meal later at night after say 8pm, only eat small snacks like yogurt fruit or nuts as you head for bed, unless you are up till 2am, then a meal at 8pm would not be that bad, but if you sleep at 10pm then only healthy snacks after 8pm
cause most likely you will just be sitting in your hotel room watching tv or resting, since it is not a town you are familiar with when you travel

discovery weekend in norcal and here at camp kuper in june, I highly recommend it if you havent gone yet

I have to highly recommend this retreat to anyone in sfc, I really got a great message on this retreat and I hope you will take the time out of your schedule to be there. I posted many photos, once you attend the discovery weekend then I will give you access to my photos, but I dont want to ruin the surprise before you go, so just go, then ask me and I will give you access to sw1 that I went to in running springs. Yours will be unique and different from ours, but the basic message should be similar. I had a blast at this retreat, I always love these midyear retreats, cause you meet people from different states and different chapters and different parst of the country, that you would have never have met if you did not take the time to be present. I promise you will get a wonderful message on this weekend, so go to norcal or go to camp kuper, I volunteered to be part of the service team, but I have not been asked as of this moment. But in any case I want you all to experience it.. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So if you want your life to change, then go do something new, let his retreat be the something new in your life that sparks change in your life. If you have been discerning or praying, then let this be the answer to your prayers at this time.

God be praised, let him work in your lives, do not ignore his call.

recipe of the month: veggie broth or soup, your choice, to give you all the great restoration that vegetables can give

Spring in a Bowl
Makes 8 servings • Ready in 45 minutes

Spring Soup Homemade soup is such a restorative meal. Can anything be better? thoughts for day hebrews 10:24, 1 timothy 4:12, and ephesians 4:2

  • Hebrews 10:24 Let's think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
  • I Timothy 4:12 Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith and your purity.
  • Ephesians 4:2 Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love.
I like all of these thoughts. If you motivate each other to change and do good work and love each other then you will create change. I get on my friends about exercise and eating smart. And some of them accept my knowledge and I see them changing their eating habits. They start taking food home with them instead of eating everything served. I see them considering how much of a portion they will eat, because they want to be in a calorie deficit. And when they suggest ways for me to serve the community or love other people, I try to make that part of the way I love others and the way I contribute back to our community and the people we reach out to in ministry. So it is a two way street. I give and take and they give and take, that is how we communicate our goals and dreams together about how we want to help each other improve ourselves.

If you are an example in the ways that you live, in your love and purity, then christ's light will shine upon you and you will attract others to your life by your grace and love. Others will ask you what changed you, how do you grow into this new person, why are you so blessed? They will wonder and ask how this all came to be in your life, especially if they knew you as a sinful man or woman in the past.

Patience is key to any blessing, for anything good is not taken so quickly. You must wait for it to develop or for you to develop before you will be given the gifts you most adore and are thankful for. Nothing good comes easy, it comes with hard work and dedication and personal development. You must be transformed in your habits and life before you will see a change in your life. Ask everyday, what can I do different today, so I can expect a new result in my life in the future. What is a new habit I can take on, to create a positive impact on my life and the people I touch with my life.

still collecting signatures and petitions to protect marriage, its not too late

Continue to Collect and Send Signatures
Petitions Still Short by Small Number

ProtectMarriage.com volunteers are counting and boxing signatures for delivery of the petition to registrars of voters in 58 counties. ProtectMarriage.com will not deliver them until they are sure there are enough signatures to qualify the measure for the ballot.

By supporting the ProtectMarriage initiative, we are standing with children and their common interest in having a married mother and father and against private interests of those who want to redefine marriage and obscure its real meaning and purpose.

The best advice we can give you is to continue collecting signatures and send what you have in every day until we tell you to stop. Timing is critical to assure that the ProtectMarriage initiative makes the November ballot. Send in signatures to:

ProtectMarriage.com
P.O. Box 162657
Sacramento, CA 95816

Some people have asked if they should plan to collect signatures this weekend. Based on the latest discussions with ProtectMarriage.com, the answer is yes. However, if enough signatures are received before then, we will let you know right away. Please check your email.

If you live in the Chino Area, volunteers are needed to help with the final processing of petitions- see details below.

We have come a long way and are very close to having the 1.1 million signatures needed to qualify this initiative. Please continue your prayers and efforts to support this important initiative.

My friend's dad told me this the other day

He told me I might be intimidating to other people because of my intelligence. I thought that was a strange comment. I feel like am very approachable, and I am usually the one introducing myself to others. I never try to impose my will on someone else unless I am competing or playing sports. But I took the comment for what it is. He also always joke with me and tell me I have tantalizing eyes. I spent the day with the argosino family.

I dont try to intimdate people. I accept people where they are at, and I know each of us has special gifts to offer one another. He also asked me if I was open to going on a blind date, and I told him as long as I know the person who referred the blind date, then I would be willing to meet the woman at least once. You never know, blind dates are not so bad, you might end up meeting the right person through an introduction, and I am assuming the person who connects the both of you wants both of you to be happy.

I played with fernando's two boys and had a conversation with the 3 year old. I really want to have my own children. It was so fun to talk to this young boy.

well we will have to see who god has prepared for me, and then take it day by day. I plan on being alive for another 60 or 70 years. They say true love waits. So for now I am happy being single.

Came to My Rescue-Hillsong United music video

Link

this now officially one of my favorite songs, I hope you enjoy the video I found today, I heard this song at praisefest and it is locked in my head

the song in my head

"I called, you answered....
and you came to my rescue and I
wanna be where you are......"

I have been singing this the whole weekend, I forget the name of the song, but it is a beautiful verse

you could use it for jesus and yourself, or you and a friend, or spouse or family member

we have all been troubled at times, and we call out and someone comes to rescue us from those bad feelings at that time if we are blessed to have good friends, and no matter what jesus will come to carry us when we are unable to carry ourselves

love and friendship

How do you know if someone is a true friend?

When I call, they answer the phone, or call me back the same day.
When I am in trouble they do their best to help me... or at least listen to me when they do not know an answer
When I am successful, they are part of my success in supporting me on my journey to whatever goals I set.
When I invite them out, they show up, or they contact me to tell me they cannot be present because of other commitments
Time------------They share their precious time with me, I value time more than anything. A friend will make an effort to spend time with you, walk with you and plan time to be together.-----

For all of my best friends, you have done this for me and I love you for that. For the people who do not answer when I call, who do not respond when I invite them out, who make funny faces when people mention my name and I am standing there watching them do it, I can tell they have a bad opinion of me, but then smile at me and expect me to respect them. I know who my real friends are. And I know who just wants be around me, without wanting to know me as man. I have so many gifts to offer, and I have such high expectations for myself and my relationships

When I am running late, I will call so you will not worry. When you invite me out, I will be there early so you will not be waiting for me. And when I have a conflict in my schedule I will tell you with some sadness that I cannot be present to share my time with you that day.

Love is shown in 5 ways: quality time, uplifting words of encouragement, physical touch that soothes the soul, service to another person without expecting anything in return, and gifts that are meaningful and special for the uniqueness of the person you give the gift to.

Love with all your heart and the love will be returned to you in an overflowing abundance, but if you are selfish, or full of hatred, or pride, or sinful then you must look within to change yourself into a person that can be loved. Each of us is a special gift and god loves you in your darkest times. When I am sad, there are normally about a few friends I call, my parents, and my brother and two sisters.

Over the long haul of life, these are the only people that matter, who do you call at 2am when nobody else will answer the phone. How people in your life can you say would answer that phone in the middle of the night and come and get you out of a bad situation? That is your support circle, those are your true friends. Friendship is not given away so easily, it is earned through dedication, trust and mutual respect and love. They walk with you and play with you in the best of times, and like simon they get under the cross and help you lift it higher when you are in pain and suffering on your faithwalk.

All the rest of the people in your life will come and go, and they make an impact on your life in small ways, maybe large way. But your support circle is the driving force your success, for you share everything with them all the glory and all the pain.

Today the friend who spent time with me was jesus. I invited many people to spend the day with me. But only jesus came when I called today. For that is his way of showing me who really matters in my life, and who really cares. For I will not find my purpose in life, my groundedness wihout devoting my life to the lord. And when I am sad, he comforts me, he whispers to me. And I do my best to be aware and listen for his guidance when I seek out love and friendship and success in life.

Seek ye first the kingdom of god and all else will be given unto you....
Matthew 6:33 "Set your hearts on god's kingdom first, on on God's saving justice, and all these other things will be given you as well"

god' s plan and his covenant with us

I know each of us goes through pain and struggle at times, but god never gives us a burden we are unable to carry. For he knows his plans for us, and they are not for woe, they are for a future full of hope. For god so loved the world, that he gave his only son for us. And he asks us to love one another as I have loved you. And the lord washes the feet of his brothers and sisters in christ, and asks us to do as he does. So that we too may lead through our service to one another. And the greatest servants are rewarded with the greatest harvest and treasures on earth and in heaven. Just imagine the more people that value your work and contribution to the world, all the more financial and spiritual blessings will be poured down upon you. So spend each day finding ways to help others, and eventually you will find the harvest you have been longing for. Just keep planting your mustard seeds, and if they reach fertile ground, and grow roots, then soon you will have giant trees with roots bearing fruit to all that encounter you and the good work you have done.

I pray you use the video to know that even when we are in our toughest trials, god loves us and he is working on our behalf through the prayers of our loved ones here on earth and in heaven. Stay positive if you are struggling right now. I have experienced great suffering in my short life and still I stay positive. I was given an illness at 18 years old in 1991, and I was not proclaimed healed until dec 2007. The healing was a process, but the medical declaration coincided with the two years I spent in formation with singles for christ. God needed to work a miracle in my life, and my service and prayer has led me to a healing recognized even by the medical community. I had hospitalized multiple times while I was sick and was unable to work at times, and I had to cope with this while in school. Yet he did not abandon me, Is still graduated from ucla, one of the premiere colleges in america. So do not despair, even at your weakest moments, god has wonders in store for you if you do not give up hope and if you pray, and if your loved ones pray for healing for you and blessings will come to you, often times more than you ever expected or felt worthy of because of the sins and mistakes in your past. I know this to be a fact, for god has redeemed me. That is the phrase I love in psalm 71, for this psalm speaks of redemption. Which is the act I sorely desired after becoming sick in the prime of my college years. God has a wonderful story and plan for each of us, unique and amazing as each of you are gifts to this world. Find the power within yourself, and pray for god's guidance when you make the difficult decisions in your life.

At the discovery weekend, one of my brothers told me "Ronald, you are a strong brother" and another told me that "the way I worship was inspiring." And those affirmation reminded me that even though something I do may feel ordinary to me, it is insipiration to others. So do not take for granted the work god is doing to others in your life, through the service you are doing in the community. On easter mass this year, one of my brothers told me good singing, and I responded that when I sing at mass it is always good, for my voice is being used to spread his word. I am just a tool, a speaker if you will for his thunderous voice when he needs his message to touch other people in their heart, mind and soul. He supplies the power in my voice, but he seems to have chosen me for that role. And I accept it and go to mass and worship knowing that it is very likely he will use me to touch someone else during worship through music.

All of us have been given special gifts that enable us to make a difference in the lives of others, if you believe that and seek him first, then he will bless you with even more talents and more gifts. For if he can trust you with small things, then he will trust you with large things later.
