testimonial from my client Craig:

Hi my name is Craig & when I first joined 24hr Fitness Ronald was my trainer. I explained to Ronald my goals and he designed a training program to fit my abilities & achieve my goals. Ronald was very detailed on my workouts and always explained the purpose of each exercise & what body parts it would build. He was a "form nazi" in that he made sure I did my exercise correctly with good form which greatly reduced the risk of injury. It was very hard work and I would be sore the next day but that was definitely a good thing. Ronald was always positive & upbeat and was there to motivate and encourage me on throughout my training program. He is very knowledgeable in regards to fitness, training, & nutrition. I learned a lot about these areas thanks to Ronald. Ronald also has a great personality which is very important in a training relationship. I would most definitely recommend Ronald as a personal trainer based on my positive experience with his training program.

Craig.

Am I jeopardizing my future career?

Another one of my best answers on yahoo answers.....

Am I Jeopardizing my Future Career?

I'm doing a commerce (business) degree majoring in commercial law and accounting at the moment. But I feel that something's missing.

I recently found out that I'm into politics and environmental issues. I like writing letters and organising club matters too.
So I thought I'd do a commerce conjoint with arts where I'd major in film and Political Science.

However, I've got this feeling that I might be jeopardizing my commerce degree (and maybe my entire life if I cannot find a proper job because of this). Also my dad thinks that I shouldn't do a conjoint because that would mean I'll be doing only accounting and dropping commercial law, while taking film and political science, which to him is a risky, non-stable profession.

I'm confused and scared because I know that there are high risk of failure rates... but i feel that it is really what I wanted to do if I were to be happy.

I know in life, that you never try, you'd never know... but could someone give me advise on a more practical approach to deal with this situation?

Thanks.

I would study the subject most interesting to you, you will be more engaged and learn and absorb more. Everyone goes through career changes. Most people do not do a job related to their undergraduate major. After you have been working for awhile if you want to specialize you will likely need an advanced degree either a masters or phd anyways, so while you are an undergrad, I would study whatever engages your mind and inspires you to read and do research while you are a student. You will meet people in that arena and make contacts that you can use later, whether it be teachers, research subects or other students to form your network when you graduate.

Almost everyone changes careers in their life at some point, it is very normal and there is nothing wrong with it. Until you find something you are passionate about, you will never be happy with your work.

And dont let anyone tell you that your dream is wrong or too risky. Nothing good is obtained easily. And if anyone could do it, then it wouldnt be worth doing. If you believe that is your calling then pursue it, ,then you will have no regrets in your career life. And that is the best way to live, sieze the day, carpe diem. And if you fail, you will have learned a ton during your journey. But if you never took a step on that journey then you will never arrive at the place you were always meant to go. God has a plan for you, and you must accept your calling in life...

Success is gaining what you want... Happiness is wanting what you obtain in life...
